Our StaffOur ReceptionistsCourteous, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient—these
are only a few adjectives to describe our receptionists. They
are the first staff members you speak with over the phone and first to
greet you and your pet when you come through the door.

Office Staff
Dianna...I was a client with many Yorkies for several years prior to joining the staff at Milford Animal Hospital 16 years ago. My husband, Jay, and I have been married for 33 years. During that time, we have opened our hearts and our home to many pets. We currently have 4 dogs: Nadia (German Shepherd); Sadie Hawkins (Border Collie mix); Bilbo Baggins (Chinese Crested/Pug mix) and Lucy (Miniature Dachshund). We also have 2 cats, Gwenny and Guido Sarducci. I have two step-children, Kathy and Christine. Both are married and have children of their own. Jay and I are also very proud parents of my niece, Meghan, who we raised through high school and college. She is a recent graduate of Ohio State University and intends to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Carolyn...Carolyn has been a receptionist at Milford Animal Hospital for five years. She worked for another veterinarian prior to joining our staff. She is eager to learn more about animal handling and has recently been spending one shift a week in training as a tech assistant. Carolyn is a married mother of two children, Ashley, 17, and Michael, 12. The family also includes two dogs, four cats, two turtles and an assortment of goldfish. Carolyn is a collector of Disney's Tinkerbelle items and she has an insatiable appetite for chocolate. :-) She enjoys participating in activities with her family which include scouts, travelling, and camping in the great outdoors.
Jean...Jean joined our staff as a receptionist in 2006. She has two children, Stephen and Lauren. In 2009, Stephen and his wife blessed Jean with a beautiful granddaughter, Althea. Jean enjoys sewing, crocheting and gardening. She lives in Miami Township with her two dogs.
Jenny...Once in a while we get in a pinch, but we can always count on our former receptionist, Jenny, to come in and pinch hit for us. Jenny is truly a delight. She can make you smile—even on a bad hair day. She is an accomplished cook and makes the most delicious desserts you could ever imagine. She knits, sews, crochets and embroiders. Jenny and her husband share their home with two dogs. They have one daughter who lives in California.
Dee...I began as a receptionist at Milford Animal Hospital in 1982 and later trained to be a technician's assistant in surgery. In the early 90's, I moved into the business office and assumed the duties of AP and purchasing. I have been the website developer for this .com since 2003. My family refers to me as The Crazy Cat Lady. I collect cat-themed items. At last count, there were 400+ in the collection. I enjoy reading, gardening and family get-togethers. I live in Miami Township with my husband, one awesome dog, and eleven mischievous cats. =^..^= | ||||||||
