We have received many calls and questions since Governor DeWine's release of guidance for business reopenings, and we wanted to take some time to explain how these will impact Milford Animal Hospital.

Governor DeWine's words for the veterinary community were "full speed ahead" and we are excited to start to get back to normal as much as possible. Starting May 1st, we will once again be seeing all patients for both sick and injured visits, as well as their preventative care. We will also begin to schedule non-emergent surgical procedures.

One of the most important policies we have adapted during this pandemic has been to divide our staff into rotating teams, to best keep ourselves socially distanced as much as our profession allows. This unfortunately means we cannot operate at our pre-pandemic capacity, and greatly appreciate your patience if you happen to experience small delays in getting an appointment or surgery scheduled.

We feel very fortunate that throughout this entire time we have been able to continuously offer care to our patients while keeping our staff and clients safe through our curb-side service. We will continue to operate this way until social distancing measures have been loosened.

We look forward to taking care of your cats, dogs, and any other pets, and cannot wait to welcome you all back into the clinic someday soon.

As always, never hesitate to call with any questions or concerns.
