Emergency Information

After-hours emergencies are referred to MedVet Medical and Cancer Center for Pets. The facility is open 24/7 including all holidays. The MedVet team's sole focus is emergency medicine. They are a highly trained group of doctors and clinical staff. They work to provide pets with a full array of care from outpatient therapy to the most intensive 24-hour care. They work closely with your family veterinarian to establish the best care plan base on each individual pet's situation.

Emergencies occurring late in our workday are frequently referred directly to MedVet. We have no staff on duty after-hours to evaluate, treat, or monitor a critically ill or injured pet. Hospitalized pets recovering from major surgery and critically ill or injured patients who have been in our care throughout our business day may also be referred to MedVet for overnight monitoring. The pet's owner is responsible for picking up a critical-care pet before our office closes and transporting it to MedVet.

Please visit MedVet's website or call them if you believe your pet may be experiencing a life-threatening illness or injury. Many situations can't wait until your family veterinarian re-opens.
